The Solaris 11 upgrade exam (1Z0-820) is out in beta and you can take the exam for $50 (discounted from $300). The beta will go through June 29, 2013. Whether you're ready for the test or not, it's not a bad way to get a glimpse of what is on the exam- heck if you fail, you're only out $50. If you pass- you become a Solaris 11 rockstar!
I posted an entry in my blog for my upcoming book (http://unixed.com/blog). I describe what you need to study. If you know what's in the book- you'll pass.
How do I know what's on the exam? I've been working with Oracle for the past 12+ months writing the questions for all three Solaris 11 exams: 1Z0-821 (OCA), 1Z0-822 (OCP), and 1Z0-820 (upgrade exam). Actually, I've been working with Sun and now Oracle for the past several years writing the Solaris exams.
If you have questions- ask them here. If I don't know the answer- I know plenty of folks at Oracle who can answer it. Please don't ask for brain dumps, we don't do that here.
