Course Summary

Prerequisite: Linux fundamentals course

Recommendation Statement:
It is assumed that the student has an understanding of Linux or Unix. You must be familiar with basic Linux or Unix commands, and the VI editor. The Linux fundamentals course or an equivalent UNIX SVR4 fundamentals course is recommended.


Course Description:
This course teaches basic and advanced topics in administering Enterprise Linux systems. The operating system will be RHEL6, CentOS, or SUSE. Students will have access to Enterprise Linux servers to perform their labs. This course covers OS installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux enterprise systems.
